Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 7, 2026
Tradulio ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Tradulio platform at tradulio.com (the "Service"), which provides multilingual menu translation and display services for restaurants. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Service, whether as a restaurant subscriber ("Restaurant Admin"), an end customer ("Customer"), or a visitor to our marketing website.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy, as well as the Privacy Policy of Charladdy Interactive LLC, the company that owns Tradulio.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information Provided by Restaurant Admins
When a restaurant subscribes to Tradulio, we collect:
- First and last name of the account holder
- Business email address
- Restaurant name
- Taxpayer identification number (for billing and compliance purposes)
- Restaurant logo, address, and other optional profile information
- Menu content, including item names, descriptions, prices, and images uploaded to the platform
- Payment information (processed by Stripe; we do not store raw card data)
1.2 Information Collected from Customers
Customers access restaurant menus via QR code or direct URL without creating an account. We may collect:
- Browser language preference (used to detect and serve the appropriate menu language)
- Selected menu items and order summaries (processed in-session; not persisted to a user profile)
- IP address and basic usage data for security and analytics purposes
1.3 Automatically Collected Information
When any user accesses the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device type, operating system, and browser type
- Pages visited and time spent on the Service
- Referring URLs
- Error logs and performance data
2. How We Use the Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Tradulio platform
- Process subscription payments through Stripe
- Perform AI-assisted menu digitization and translation using the Claude API (Anthropic, PBC)
- Detect and display menus in the customer's preferred language
- Send transactional communications such as account confirmations and billing receipts
- Respond to support requests and reported issues
- Improve the Service through usage analytics
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
3. AI Processing and Third-Party Translation
Tradulio uses artificial intelligence services, including the Anthropic Claude API, to extract menu data from uploaded images and to generate translations. Menu content uploaded by Restaurant Admins may be transmitted to these third-party AI providers for processing.
For languages other than those covered by AI-assisted translation, Tradulio partners with professional human translation services. Menu content may be shared with those providers under appropriate confidentiality agreements.
Restaurant Admins are responsible for reviewing AI-generated translations for accuracy before publishing menus to customers.
4. Data Storage and Security
Tradulio stores data using the following infrastructure:
- Database records are stored in a managed PostgreSQL instance via Supabase, hosted on secure cloud infrastructure
- Menu images and restaurant assets are stored in Cloudflare R2 object storage with access controls
- Authentication is managed through Supabase Auth
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and regular monitoring. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Supabase (database and auth), Cloudflare (storage), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI processing), and professional translation vendors — each under appropriate data processing agreements
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to affected users
Menu content displayed to Customers via QR code is publicly accessible to anyone with the link, consistent with the restaurant's intent to publish that menu.
6. Data Retention
We retain account and menu data for the duration of an active subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter to allow for account reactivation or dispute resolution. Restaurant Admins may request deletion of their data by contacting us. Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
7. International Users
Tradulio is owned by Charladdy Interactive, a Texas-based LLC and primarily serves users in connection with international tourism and international events. If you are accessing the Service from outside of the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or in other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Restaurant Admins of material changes via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
